The Finnish Air Line Pilots' Association
(SLL), representing Finnair pilots, has rejected settlement
proposals put forward by State appointed mediator, Esa Lonka,
on Friday night. Finnair pilots' strike is to begin on Monday,
16 November at 00:01 hours.
Due to the strike, some flights will be cancelled already on
Sunday, 15 November. The flights with AY-numbers AY5610-AY8636
will be operated by their code-share partners during the strike.
Due to the pilots' strike, they cannot accept cargo or mail
for air transportation at the moment.
European road feeder operations will be continued normally.
Finnair Cargo Terminal Operations will remain open for their
other customer airlines.
If your cargo is already accepted to their transportation and
you wish to collect it, please contact their local terminal
operations provider.
Shipments already in transit, please contact Finnair Cargo Terminal
Operations in Helsinki. Tel: +358 9 8185003.
Information on the changes caused by the strike can be found
on their web site: www.finnaircargo.com.
You can check the status of your shipment using their tracking
function on our web site.
Finnair Cargo apologises for any disruption and inconvenience
caused to their customers as a result of the pilots' strike.
